The large Oaxacan county stretches from the mountains to the coast. It is very hot and humid there so you would want to wear something light! Oaxacana represents the indigenous parts of Mexico. The indigenous language is more prevalent there than any other place. However, during the Mexican revolution of 1920, Oaxacan county allied with the Spaniards because they were able to retain their autonomy under Spanish leadership.
